Call me out! Antumbra edition.
Prompts!
In the land of gods and monsters: Shin will be very happy in his home world, which is a fairly normal 2010's America. Visit the city, marvel at modern technology, maybe meet Shin in a cafe somewhere. Just... Maybe don't follow him to that mysterious building he keeps frequenting if you don't want to run into any more merry murderers.
The secret life of Shin: Castmate option. Eddie got to see Shin get snatched up by some sort of demonic... Thing. Then he returned half an hour later. However Eddie handles this, things go more or less back on track after Shin takes Eddie to see his furniture. After the adventure with the grave robber, Shin manages to stick around a little longer than he does in canon. Does Danny want to ask why Shin suddenly cares more about his brother? Do Zack and Ray have the pleasure of touring his floor instead of Eddie's? Feel free to hit me up for plotting.
I've been everywhere, man: The AU where Shin gets stuck in someone else's world and has to survive until he figures out a way back home. Maybe he'll curb his murderous urges for a little longer while he gets a tour of your place.
Lizard end?: The AU where Shin is stuck as a half void. Luckily for him, it doesn't get too much worse, but he has to hide the fins from the public and deal with that horror hunger. At least in his world he's already getting a steady supply of victims, but...
Anything goes: This is basically a wildcard option. Make up your own prompt or steal a meme.

Perhaps that might be for the better, considering everything that hadn't gone back to normal for the furniture maker.
There was a subtle change in his demeanor that could easily be missed. A slight carefulness that wasn't there before. As an artist, he began to incorporate other media into his work, like making a grisly frame for a disturbing painting on canvas, or trying his hand at outdoor furniture made from skin and bone...
The strange substance that was found on the clothes of his last victim, he claimed, was paint they spilled on themselves as they tried to get away. Nobody else was there to see how much there was to clean up and no one could prove it was from something else.
No one would believe him if he told them the truth.
Yet he still had mental scars that he couldn't explain from experiences that turned his world on its head. Why did he believe that Reverend to begin with? Why was he offered a place here?
Those questions would eat him alive if they were left unanswered. It took him a good while to muster up his will and think carefully about what to ask, but here he is. Walking into the realm of "god" to gain audience with the reverend. ]
Father... May I have a moment of your time?

If he's surprised that Shin is coming to see him now, it isn't evident in his response; it's easy, coming in between the passages of the Bible that his attention is skirting over as Shin enters.]
You may. Is something on your mind...?

Then again... Even if he is technically one of Gray's "angels," Shin can't help but feel like an outsider... Especially since that incident he refuses to talk about. ]
A few things, really.
[ He starts off with an excuse. ] Now, I am truly grateful you have allowed me in and given me a place to practice my art, [ He earnestly admits that much, especially after what felt like ages of being unable to do so ] But I can't help but be curious about the theme that ties us all together... Sinners, sacrifices, angels... Tell me, what inspired you to make this project a reality?
